“Eternity” - Lake Leane, Killarney.
Lake Leane was not only the subject of this very early morning sunrise photo shoot, but also the backdrop to another adventure that took place a year prior - my engagement to my now wife. The only sound audible on this peaceful calm summer morning was the rustling of deer in the grass on the lake shore.

This image was shot from a cliff-top instead of a drone at sunset, which gave the water a golden tint. The wave is breaking not on the beach but over a shallow, rocky reef further out at sea.

This image was taken at sunset during the summer of 2022 in this incredibly peaceful cove.

I knew the title for this image the second I saw this location for the first time. It was snowing heavily and as dusk started to set in, the light started turning this magnificent ice cold blue - the bird gliding over the tower revealed the decisive moment to release the shutter. Whilst the weather-induced mood and the composition of this image might suggest “Bond Villain” hideout, the actual history of this jaw-dropping location is quite the opposite - during the 1930s, the owner of the property at the time, Swiss born chef and chocolatier Mr Kunzle sent sick children, particularly those suffering from tuberculosis, to his house in Davos, Switzerland, to recover in the clean mountain air.
